AccessCIT is the ideal proposal management solution, it allows you to pre-approve end users and transactions can be quickly underwritten and tracked throughout each stage of the process. This will allow you to approach the customer with confidence, knowing that the credit line has been approved and is simple for you to review.
If for any reason you can not access AccessCIT you can also make your proposals by emailing the Proposal Form to your DFS representative, or you can call directly. In all cases underwriting decisions are always well considered and sales focused.

How do I get access to AccessCIT?
Your DFS Business Partner Trading Agreement, which can be found as a separate link includes the application details for AccessCIT. Please complete the names of those individuals within your organisation who you would like to grant access and also provide their email address and telephone number.
After the signed trading agreement complete with the application details have been received, log on details for AccessCIT (www.access.cit.com) will be emailed to the named individuals.
The first time you access AccessCIT you will be presented with the Terms and Conditions, which you should review and accept by ticking the box at the bottom of the page.
What do I need to submit an application?
To start a new application, please follow the high level instructions:
- Click the Enter new Application button or select New Application from the menu.
- The New Application page will then be displayed
- The description fields marked with an asterisk symbol highlights the mandatory information, which is required for your application.
- If you are not certain what information is required, simply hover your mouse cursor over the description and an explanation will be provided.
The New Application page prompts you to provide some basic information concerning the Customer, which will include:
- Name
- Address
- Amount financed
- Equipment details: (If the equipment type you require does not appear in the equipment drop down list, select MISC (miscellaneous) and you will be prompted to enter a description)
- Software or Services amount should be input in the Software Amount field.
For Limited Companies and PLC’s you will need to provide the company registration number, however if you are unsure of the number we have included a hyperlink where you will be able to check this.
When you have completed these details, you will be presented with a summary of the application along with a copy of the Data Protection Statement. Please read this carefully and register your acceptance by ticking the confirmation box. You can then send the application by pressing the Submit button.
Your customer’s application will then be processed and a credit decision will be displayed onscreen.
How do I know the status of my applications?
When you submit an application, AccessCIT will display the credit decision at that stage.
If the initial decision is shown as ‘Pending’, this means that we need to review further information, which we will complete before providing a decision that will be communicated to you via e-mail.
You can monitor the progress of all of your Credit Applications by using the Application Reports area of the site, which displays real-time information concerning all of your proposals. The application reference code will be part of the email confirmation and will be in the format ‘TRSFE0000999999’. This can be used to streamline the tracking process.
